<p>Residence Life Specialist - Plaza on University</p> <p>Department: Property Admin</p> <p>Employment Type: Full Time</p> <p>Location: Plaza on University - Orlando, FL</p> <p>Reporting To: Resident Experience Manager</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The Residence Life Specialist is responsible for organizing engaging resident events that promote personal growth, healthy lifestyles, and academic success within the community, promoting an engaging living experience. This role involves collaborating with university partners to facilitate residence life activities and orientations. Reporting to the Resident Experience Manager, the Residence Life Specialist will help deliver a best-in-class living experience that sets ACC properties apart.</p> <ul> <li>Organize resident events to enhance the living experience at the property. </li><li>Create events that enhance residents' personal growth, healthy lifestyle, and academic success. </li><li>Coordinate with University partners on residence life activities, orientations, and similar events. </li><li>Set up and attend resident functions, remaining knowledgeable about resident event requests and lifestyle needs. </li><li>Ensure community newsletters are completed and distributed in a timely manner. </li><li>Assist with collecting resident feedback and survey results, as well as creating action plans for improvement. </li><li>Help oversee lease policy enforcement, including resident misconduct follow-up and management in partnership with supervisor. </li><li>Partner closely with service team to ensure property is consistently well-maintained and meets curb appeal standards. </li><li>Help with coordinating roommate assignments, as applicable. </li><li>Assist with office administrative tasks, including package management. </li><li>Other duties, as assigned by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>American Campus Communities Culture Commitments</p> <ul> <li>Our people are devoted to a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equality in the workplace and our communities.
