We are guided by our CAPLICO Core Values:</p> <p>Celebration</p> <p>Accountability</p> <p>Passion for Learning</p> <p>Love One Another</p> <p>Intelligent Risk Taking</p> <p>Customer Second (Employee First!)</p> <p>Ownership</p> <p>If these core values resonate deeply with your own moral compass and you meet the requirements below, then you should apply.</p> <p>About the Opportunity</p> <ul> <li>Leadership and Management: Provide guidance to Wellness staff, develop and implement policies and standards, manage department operations, including budgeting and staffing. </li><li>Quality Assurance: Ensure safe and effective care delivery, monitor and evaluate quality, implement improvement initiatives, and comply with regulations and standards. </li><li>Staffing and Recruitment: Lead recruitment, selection, and retention of Wellness personnel, oversee staff development programs. </li><li>Performance Management: Evaluate and manage Wellness staff performance. </li><li>Policy Development: Contribute to community policy and procedure development for the Wellness Department. </li><li>Collaboration and Communication: Effectively collaborate and communicate with healthcare professionals, departments, and stakeholders, coordinate resident care and initiatives. </li><li>Resident Advocacy: Collaborate with resident care teams, implement resident-centered initiatives, and enhance resident experience. </li></ul> <p>Critical Success Factors</p> <ul> <li>A strong customer service focus, which is demonstrated in daily interactions. </li><li>Leadership qualities that inspire others to respect and contribute to the shared vision for success. </li><li>Compassionate, empathetic personal interactions. </li><li>Effective oral and written communication skills; basic computer skills, including using e-mail. </li><li>Highly organized, ability to manage multiple priorities. Adaptable and flexible. </li><li>Self-supervising, self-motivating, willingness to collaborate and work as a team member. </li><li>Demonstrates problem-solving ability. </li><li>Successful experience with conflict management and problem solving. </li><li>Flexibility and adaptability to allow for the unexpected in meeting resident or staff needs. </li><li>Demonstrated skill in interviewing, hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Current unencumbered nursing license. </li><li>Minimum of one-year experience in assisted living or health care. </li><li>Previous supervisory experience in the health care environment required. </li><li>Current CPR certification. </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer.
