<p>Keville Enterprises Inc., an established Construction Management Consulting & Inspection firm, is seeking a full-time Senior Construction Inspector to join our team in New Haven, CT. Due to the nature of the role, daily on-site presence is required, with occasional evening or weekend work during critical project phases or to meet project deadlines. Candidates shall have knowledge of construction means and methods, materials, strong communication skills, documentation control, ability to read and interpret plans and specifications and to perform quantity takeoffs/calculations.</p> <p>Qualifications: Experience in inspecting, testing, or managing construction projects is a must. Candidates must be fully proficient in the use of computers including MS Word, Excel and construction reporting/quantity tracking software. Candidates must have effective written and oral communication skills, be eager to learn, willing to perform a variety of tasks and be a team player.</p> <p>A minimum of four years of experience in civil, highway or a relevant engineering field is required, with two years in a field inspection capacity.</p> <p>A NICET Level 3 is required for this position. A current State of Connecticut Professional Engineer's License or a Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) in a relevant field is also acceptable. A Bachelor of Science Degree may be substituted for two years of experience. Other certifications including NACE Coatings Inspection; ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor; NETTCP HMA Inspector, NETTCP Concrete Inspector, Soils and Concrete, ACI Technician and AWS/CWI are a plus.</p> <p>This employer participates in e-verify.
