<p>Weld Operations Supervisor - 1st Shift</p> <p>Janesville, WI | Monday-Thursday | 4:00am-2:00pm | OT as Needed</p> <p>Lead from the floor. Drive performance. Build strong teams.</p> <p>United Alloy is hiring a 1st Shift Operations Supervisor to lead production in our state-of-the-art Welding Department in Janesville, WI. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, accountability, and hitting daily production goals in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead and develop weld production teams on the shop floor </li><li>Set daily production goals and hold teams accountable </li><li>Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met </li><li>Be present on the floor - remove barriers and support your team </li><li>Coordinate across shifts to maintain production flow </li><li>Review timekeeping, approve PTO, and manage attendance </li><li>Support training, coaching, and progressive discipline when needed </li><li>Drive continuous improvement in welding and fabrication operations </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>6+ years of production leadership experience </li><li>Experience in metal fabrication and/or welding operations preferred </li><li>Strong understanding of shop floor production environments </li><li>Ability to read blueprints and use basic shop tools </li><li>Experience working with overhead cranes (preferred) </li><li>Strong communication and accountability mindset </li><li>Proven leadership in driving performance and culture </li><li>Education: High School Diploma or GED required | Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred </li></ul> <p>Why United Alloy?</p> <ul> <li>4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday) </li><li>Competitive salary + performance-based bonuses </li><li>Medical, dental & vision </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Generous RTO & vacation policy </li><li>Paid training & company holidays </li></ul> <p>United Alloy is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom metal tanks, skids, trailers, and heavy fabrications - proudly Made in the USA and ISO 9001 certified.</p>
