<p>Position Title Assistant Coach - Men's Lacrosse Department Athletic Center -Group Pay Type Non Exempt Appointment Type (A) Continuing Part-Time Hours Per Week 18 Number of weeks Other (Benefits Ineligible) other - # of weeks 15 Benefits Eligible No Benefits Geographical Regional Qualifies for Relocation Reimbursement No Work Schedule</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>General Scope of Duties</p> <p>Assist the head coach of men's lacrosse with coaching/teaching during on-field practice sessions, off-field chalkboard and video analysis, preparation of opponent scouting report and strategies, in-game coaching and pre-game preparation. The assistant coach will adhere to all NCAA, NESCAC, and College regulations and represent the institution with the highest professionalism.</p> <p>General Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in daily practice planning, coaching/teaching through video and whiteboard sessions, on-field teaching of skills and team concepts, application of opponent scouting reports to practice sessions, and post-practice debrief. </li><li>Assist with pre-game preparation, in-game coaching, and post-game debrief. </li></ul> <p>Education and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>Two years of lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level and/or three years of collegiate lacrosse playing experience. </li><li>Knowledge of NCAA and NESCAC rules. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience and effective communication skills. </li><li>Highest ethical standards regarding sportsmanship, integrity, and professionalism. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Driving Required Yes Salary Range $16.35 Note</p> <p>Connecticut College is committed to fair and competitive compensation.
