If you're ready to grow, lead and make a difference, come join our team and help shape the future of convenience.</p> <p>Job Title: Regional Maintenance Trainer I</p> <p>Department: Facilities</p> <p>Supervisor Title: Regional Maintenance Training Supervisor</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>Works closely with new and existing technicians to develop skills and ensure proper repairs are being performed; develops training profiles and oversees the execution of development plans for Field Maintenance Technicians; provides advanced technical assistance to Field Maintenance Technicians and the Technical Support Center as needed.</p> <p>KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinates training of new Field Maintenance Technicians in all aspects of the business; ensures proper training of all maintenance related tasks, including, but not limited to, building equipment and systems maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Regionally aligns with Regional Facilities Manager and their Area Facilities Managers, and works closely with second (or third) Regional Maintenance Trainer to support regional training needs</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates employees based upon various performance metrics and skill assessments; determines if additional training is necessary and conducts training as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, implements and delivers training programs to address individual development needs of Field Maintenance Technicians</p> </li><li> <p>Develops skill and competency profiles and formulates individual development plans based on employee profiles; provides feedback to management on individual and group progress</p> </li><li> <p>Plans and coordinates the activities of Field Training Technicians to ensure adherence to the department training program for new and existing technicians</p> </li><li> <p>Creates and develops basic training materials</p> </li><li> <p>Acts as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one trade</p> </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>EDUCATION: High School/GED Preferred</p> <p>YEARS OF RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3+ years</p> <p>YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: NA</p> <p>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: NA</p> <p>SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to research and resolve issues</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent leadership skills and the ability to facilitate and direct the activities of others</p> </li><li> <p>Good understanding of intra-department functions and operations</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to build and sustain collaborations</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 Hourly</p> <p>If an hourly or salary range is included in this ad it represents the range 7-Eleven in good faith believes is the range of compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
