<p>Stanford University is seeking a Program Coordinator to administer and support complex programs or functions within the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the School of Medicine under general supervision.</p> <p>The YogaX program is an innovative initiative within Stanford Psychiatry that integrates yoga, neuroscience, and psychology to bring evidence-informed yoga practices into healthcare and community settings. YogaX operates across educational, clinical, and research domains, delivering programs through in-person, virtual, and asynchronous formats, and engaging a diverse network of faculty, healthcare professionals, trainees, and external partners. We are dedicated to inviting as many people as possible into the practice - especially those who have not typically been drawn to it because of perceived and real barriers to access. We teach integrated, holistic yoga that models accessibility and honors diversity and individuality.</p> <p>This position plays a central role in the administration and coordination of YogaX programs, ensuring the effective delivery of trainings, events, and program offerings. The Program Coordinator under supervision, manages key operational processes, supports program execution, and collaborates with program leadership to maintain high standards of quality, accessibility, and participant experience.</p> <p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, and exercise sound judgment in supporting complex program operations. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as comfort working at the intersection of healthcare, education, and applied yoga practice.</p> <p>Duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Independently implement and coordinate day-to-day operations of YogaX programs, including coordinating multi-format program delivery (in-person, virtual, and asynchronous), managing enrollment processes, and ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines. </li><li>Monitor and optimize program workflows and systems, including program registration, communications, scheduling, and digital learning platforms, ensuring efficient and consistent program delivery across multiple concurrent offerings. </li><li>Serve as a primary operational contact for students, faculty, and external stakeholders, resolving issues, providing guidance on program processes, and ensuring a high-quality participant experience. </li><li>Coordinate complex scheduling across internal and external stakeholders, resolving conflicts and ensuring alignment with program priorities. </li><li>Collect and manage program data related to program registration, module enrollment and student progress tracking; generate reports, interpret trends, and develop recommendations to improve program operations and outcomes. </li><li>Contribute to the development and implementation of program procedures and operational strategies in collaboration with program leadership. </li><li>Coordinate and support the planning and execution of events, trainings, and outreach activities, including logistics, communications, and participant engagement. </li><li>Represent the program in internal and external interactions, supporting program delivery and maintaining alignment with program standards and objectives. </li><li> <ul> <li>Other duties may also be assigned </li></ul> </li></ul> <p>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in program coordination or operations within a university, healthcare, or community-based setting </li><li>Experience planning and executing events, trainings, or programs for professional audiences, including healthcare providers or academic participants </li><li>Experience working with program administration tools and platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, learning management systems, Zoom, email marketing platforms) </li><li>Yoga teacher certification (ERYT500 preferred) with experience applying integrated holistic yoga in educational, therapeutic, or healthcare contexts </li><li>Bachelor's degree and experience in a medical, allied health, or behavioral health field </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):</p> <p>High school diploma and four years of administrative experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED):</p> <ul> <li>Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications. </li><li>Demonstrated success in following through and completing projects. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and assign work to others. </li><li>Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects. </li><li>Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment in making decision </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:</p> <p>Yoga teacher certification is preferred (ERYT500 level).</p> <p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:</p> <ul> <li>Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks. </li><li>Frequently sitting. </li><li>Occasionally stand/walk, reach/work above shoulders, grasp lightly/fine manipulation, grasp forcefully, use a telephone, sort/file paperwork or parts, lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds. </li><li>Rarely twist/bend/stoop/squat, kneel/crawl. </li><li>Perform yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation practices with or without modifications or adaptations. </li><li> <ul> <li>Consistent with its obligations under the law, the University will provide reasonable accommodation to any employee with a disability who requires accommodation to perform the essential functions of his or her job. </li></ul> </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <p>This role involves nonstandard hours, including evenings and weekends. Availability for these hours and a flexible schedule are essential. This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per week.</p> <p>The expected pay range for this position is $34 to $64 per hour.</p> <p>Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage the university reasonably expects to pay for a position upon hire.
