<p>This role is associated with the proposed Universal destination in Bedford, UK. Successful candidates will spend time at the Universal Creative Headquarters in Orlando, and at the site in Bedford.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>The Senior Manager, Creative Project Management manages all of the business aspects of the office of the Sr. Director, EP including creation of the quarterly/annual calendar, daily management of cross-department strategic initiatives and project process improvements. Works with the Sr Director, EP as the business partner on all ongoing operations, administration activities, and specific project initiatives. Attends Senior Leadership Team meetings, publish agendas, records and distributes meeting notes. Responsible for the administration and reporting of project requirements, budgets, and strategies. Works as a strategic partner facilitating collaboration across the Creative Studio and with other non-Creative departments and partners.</p> <p>MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Manages Sr. Director's resources and workload. Collaborates closely with partners to align organizational strategies, goals, and priorities. Provides insight, analysis, and recommendations to drive strategic initiatives. </li><li>Serve as liaison with staff, executives, and senior leaders. Establishes clear lines of communication with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, team members, and other relevant parties, providing regular updates. </li><li>Responsible for creating and implementing strategies to achieve Sr. Director's goals and supports the Creative mission and vision. Serves as strategic thought partner and advisor. Champion for driving business priorities from conception to completion. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and post-project evaluations. </li><li>Initiates and manages various action items or processes in the project management system and capital requests, monitors and reports on budgets, project status, and reviews. Implement quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards and client expectations. </li><li>Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION</p> <p>Understands the business - real estate development or theme park, hotel or entertainment management experience.</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and communicate with impact. </li><li>Thinks strategically and can perform problem analysis. </li><li>Ability to simplify complexity. </li><li>Anticipate and avert problems. </li><li>Has organizational and political intelligence </li></ul> <p>Has experience with:</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Project or program management, developing budgets/schedules/tracking progress </li><li>Research and analysis </li><li>Managing relationships </li><li>Managing the process of an idea to execution </li><li>Grasping and adding value to a leader's vision </li></ul> <p>Preferred skills and qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven success in a project coordination role </li><li>Extreme attention to detail </li><li>Increased understanding of the business marketplace and technology </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Strong relationship making skills. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Experience in Finance or Business with management experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p>Your talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.</p> <p>Universal is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
