The intern will work out of our home office in downtown Cincinnati and will have a hybrid work from home/work in office schedule.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform internal audits and review internal controls for effectiveness and efficiency. </li><li>Test the reasonableness of financial balances and ensure compliance with statutory and generally accepted accounting principles. </li><li>Prepare electronic audit workpapers in accordance with company and external audit standards. </li><li>Inform the audit coordinator of the progress of assignments and discuss results and recommendations for improvement with audit team and company management. </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related majors.</p> </li><li> <p>Current/most recent GPA of 3.00 or above.</p> </li><li> <p>Campus involvement.
