<p>Pay Range: $16.78 - 17.75 hourly</p> <p>Weekends (Sat & Sun) are required</p> <p>Mon/Tues/Wed 4pm-8:15pm</p> <p>Thurs/Fri: OFF</p> <p>Saturday 930a-8:15pm</p> <p>Sunday 10:30a-8:15pm</p> <p>OR Fri 4-8:15pm/ Sat 930am-8:15pm/ Sun 1030a-8:15pm</p> <p>Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle</p> <p>NFM is looking for a Security Officer to provide an authoritative presence to ensure a safe and secure environment, while protecting company property and staff.</p> <p>Job Duties: A Day in the Life</p> <ul> <li>Greet: Welcome all customers, visitors and vendors and assist them in locating staff within the stores </li><li>Support: Issue electric handicapped shopping carts to customers and provide assistance in obtaining wheel chairs and shopping carts </li><li>Monitor: Examine and properly tag property being brought into the stores </li><li>Assess: React as necessary and assist in handling any situations - shoplifting, medical emergencies and inclement weather </li><li>Patrol: Watch facilities and parking areas on foot or in a vehicle. Direct traffic during special events or heavy customer traffic, while enforcing parking regulations </li><li>Assist: Help customers and staff with vehicle break-downs and lock-outs and retrieve shopping carts from parking areas </li><li>Report: Conduct preliminary investigations, audits and security surveys and document the findings </li></ul> <p>Your work will directly impact our ability to help people create a lifestyle they love, for the people they love-because that's what we love.</p> <p>Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED preferred </li><li>Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record </li><li>Ability to consistently engage customers in a professional manner </li><li>Remain flexible to ever changing environments and adapt to different situations </li><li>Stamina to stand for long periods of time </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications </li><li>Certification in OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) foam deployment within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification standards (Nebraska & Kansas only) </li><li>Satisfactorily complete NFM Response to Resistance and First Responder training courses within ninety (90) days of employment </li><li>Ability to obtain a non-commissioned security officer license within thirty (30) days of employment (Texas only) </li><li>Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs </li><li>Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, drug screen and criminal background check </li></ul> <p>#zr</p>
