GA-EMS' expanding portfolio of specialized products and integrated system solutions support critical fleet, space systems and satellites, missile defense, power and energy, and process and monitoring applications for defense, industrial, and commercial customers worldwide.</p> <p>We are currently hiring a Senior Systems Engineer for Radar Integration and Test who will be a key member within the GA-EMS Radar Technologies department. In this capacity, the Senior Systems Engineer will execute integration and test activities to validate new radar capabilities. The Senior Systems Engineer will report into the Senior Manager of Architecture and Systems Engineering within the Radar Technologies group.</p> <p>DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Review system requirements and design documentation to support planning integration and test events </li><li>Verify requirements and interfaces, and validate performance at component, subsystem, and system levels </li><li>Perform test planning including development of test sequencing, test cases, test methods, and test inputs to validate component, subsystem, and system requirements and performance </li><li>Setup and configure integration and test environments (labs, test stands, simulators, Radar test sites, etc.) </li><li>Physically integrate HW components in lab environment and on radar prototypes at test sites, duties include racking of components and integration with power, network, cooling solutions and RF networks </li><li>Integrate software releases in the lab and on radar prototypes at test sites to demonstrate new capabilities while verifying existing functionality has not been lost through regression testing </li><li>Perform electrical and RF testing using equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and voltage/current monitors </li><li>Develop test scripts, test drivers, and data analysis tools using programming languages such as Python, Matlab, C/C++, and LabView </li><li>As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate on backlog planning, implementation approach, and integration and test plans </li><li>Analyze data from integration events and field tests, troubleshoot and debug issues, and coordinate with development teams to identify fixes or design updates to resolve </li><li>Develop test reports and present at company technical reviews and internal meetings </li><li>Prepare and execute Integration Readiness Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, and Test Report Reviews with internal and external customers </li></ul> <p>We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.</p>
