<p>POSITION: Supervisor of Nutrition Personnel</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Administrative Director of Operations</p> <p>ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: Position is responsible for performing duties that support a variety of human resource business functions such as talent acquisition, onboarding, policy implementation, employee/labor relations, training, and performance management. This position works collectively with the district's Human Resource and City of Worcester Human Resource Departments.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Manages the recruitment, interviews, selection, and onboarding processes for all department personnel, including managing civil service listing. Accountable for prompt hiring and placement of support staff and school-based nutrition personnel. Monitors operational vacancies and turnover rates in conjunction with finance staff to assure proper staffing compliance as well as budgetary constraints. Primary point of contact for operational staff on human resource related issues including implementation of district policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreement. Directly involved with labor relations for union and nonunion personnel including investigatory meetings, issuance of discipline and grievance process. Responsible for performance management of union and nonunion personnel. Provides coaching and mentoring to supervisors on complex employee issues. Responsible to coordinate and manage department recruitment activities. Assists and participates in department training activities. Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li>Bachelor's degree in human resources, public administration, business management, or a related field. </li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources or related experience. </li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Professional, excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. </li><li>Experience with collective bargaining agreements. </li><li>Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. </li><li>Strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Must have the ability to travel within the district as necessary. </li></ol> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ol> <li>Master's degree in human resources, public administration, business management, or a related field. </li><li>Five years of experience in human resources or related experience. </li><li>Experience working in a school district or public sector environment is highly desirable. </li><li>Experience with Workday Enterprise Management Software. </li><li>Ability to speak Spanish. </li></ol> <p>POSITION TYPE: Non-Represented, Non-Exempt</p> <p>WORK YEAR/WORK DAY: This is a full-time, twelve-month professional position that may require work at times outside of regular work hours when necessary to perform responsibilities. Typically, the hours required are 8:00-4:00 pm.
