Applicable only for MA & MOS positions in the Centers of Excellence and Maryland Family Care practices, of which this role applies to.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Front Desk and back office support for Cardiology Providers. The position is 50%-50% front office and back office support when needed. Front office consists of patient check in, verifying insurance and requirements of that insurance i.e. referrals / authorizations, co-pay collections and scheduling of visits, testing and procedures as needed, back office consisits of vitals, i.e. manual blood pressure, height,weight and EKG as needed. The staff member demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the ages of patients served.
