The role includes providing strategic direction, working with different stakeholders, and overseeing the liquidity risk management program to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and delivery of risk consulting services.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Build the strategic vision for the Liquidity Risk team and refine it as business priorities evolve.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide Liquidity Risk oversight and management across various key asset classes including alternatives</p> </li><li> <p>Document FT standards and procedures for monitoring and testing performed by liquidity risk teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide regular back testing of vendor provided liquidity assessments and develop the FT internal liquidity model ensuring assessments reflect the view of IRM</p> </li><li> <p>Produce regular liquidity risk reports that aggregate and present the results of independent reviews to senior management</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare for and assist with coordination of regulatory reviews and responses.</p> </li><li> <p>Engage with key stakeholders (CIOs, CRO) to understand business needs and communicate the team's strategic vision effectively.</p> </li><li> <p>Represent Investment Risk within various FT committees, providing strategic direction and oversight of investment risk efforts</p> </li><li> <p>Work effectively with other functions to develop meeting agendas, prepare materials, and document outcomes.</p> </li><li> <p>Prioritize the technology initiatives related to liquidity risk and lead modernization efforts.</p> </li><li> <p>Liaise with other functions, including Operations, Legal and Compliance to ensure full coverage of counterparty and credit risk matters.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and run standard reports and queries, as well as design, develop, test, automate, and launch new dashboards and reporting solutions across the Regulatory Risk team.</p> </li></ul> <p>What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline</p> </li><li> <p>CFA or FRM designation preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience within a credit risk function will be an advantage</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years relevant work experience REQUIRED in the Mutual Fund/Financial Services Industry</p> </li><li> <p>Strong verbal and written communications skills</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to details and excellent analytical skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently, perform mathematical calculations/analysis and to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to coordinate the work of others</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to accurately proofread documents and work under pressure, and the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced, team environment</p> </li></ul> <p>What technology skill sets are critical to the success of this role?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in programming languages, preferably VBA or R/Python, Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in SQL experience for data extraction, manipulation, and analyses, including complex joins</p> </li><li> <p>Experience using financial/risk application/software, Bloomberg, MSCI Barra Risk Model, FactSet, and Morningstar</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range: Franklin Templeton offers employees a competitive and valuable range of total rewards-monetary and non-monetary - designed to support their well-being and recognize their time, talents, and results.
