They perform an essential function when it comes to the health and well-being of our patient population, as well as contributes to the evolving culture of our unique home-like environment.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function listed below:</p> <ul> <li>Reviews medical orders from our dietician and speech language pathologist to determine diet and texture modifications for each patient </li><li>Reviews weekly menu and prepares food according to its guidelines </li><li>Ensures modified meals are in compliance with International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) guidelines www.iddsi.org </li><li>Maintains kitchen inventory and cleanliness </li><li>Performs other related duties and activities as required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Knowledge and Skills Required by the Job</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job:</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Must have valid CA Driver's License </li><li>High School diploma or equivalent </li><li>Six months related experience </li><li>Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines </li><li>Effective communication skills to manage relationships </li><li>Self-motivated and collaborative; A team player </li><li>Strong culinary knowledge and a commitment to excellent customer service </li></ul> <p>Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:</p> <ul> <li>Food handlers (within 30 days of hire) </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Medium Work.
