<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The IS Project Manager reports to the Director of IS Infrastructure. Under the general supervision and within Brown University Health policies and procedures, plans, directs, coordinates, and implements large scale projects for Information Services. The core Success Factors include:</p> <p>Instill Trust and Value Differences</p> <p>Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Leads the planning and implementation of projects and facilitates the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables required to meet objectives.</p> <p>Develops full scale project plans. Defines project tasks, duration of tasks and sequence of events.</p> <p>Defines resource requirements and manages resources and materials. Analyzes, reviews and forecasts spending with management.</p> <p>Plans and schedules project timelines. Tracks project deliverables using appropriate tools.</p> <p>Manages the project budget and project resource allocation. Coordinates, approves and tracks all project related expenses including all hours, materials and services.</p> <p>Coordinates all project matters and monitors on a daily basis, assigns and delegates tasks as needed. Provides direction and support to project team. Facilitates communication and team building. Acts as a primary interface between BUHCS IS and the site affiliate project teams.</p> <p>Implements Brown University Health 's operating procedures including communication, documentation, quality, and change control processes.</p> <p>Provides quality assurance and constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project to all stakeholders. Provides reports in writing on a weekly basis defining project progress, problems and solutions. Identifies internal and external factors delaying the project, expedites issues and recommends solutions to the Director of IS Infrastructure. Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.</p> <p>Coordinates post project review of policies and procedures utilized to improve future project performance. Performs post project and employee reviews.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>BASIC KNOWLEDGE:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor 's Degree in computer science, business management, Engineering or related field. </li><li>Combination of computer-related technical training and progressively more responsible IS management responsibility may substitute for degree. </li><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Certification preferred. </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years project management experience. </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and methodologies, and with demonstrated success delivering IT projects in a complex organization on-time, within budget and in-scope. </li><li>Knowledge of Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI.) Proficient using MS Project and MS Office. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, resources, customers, and management with a focus on consistency and accuracy. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
