Together, we're building the future we all aspire to - making net zero a reality.</p> <p>One team, one future.</p> <p>Mitsubishi Power Americas, Inc. in Lake Mary, Florida is looking for an Event Planning Associate (INTERNSHIP).</p> <p>ROLE DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>MUST be currently Enrolled in a bachelor's Program in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Hospitality Management or a related field from an accredited college or university.</p> <p>Work Schedule: During School need to be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during business hours and can work up to 28 hours a week Max if a fit for the Student and During Breaks can be up to 40 hours a week as needed. (we will work around your school schedule and Finals).</p> <p>Length of Internship: 6 months minimum and could extend longer if a fit for the student and need to be able to commit to this time frame if selected.</p> <p>Must be able to start between August 18th - September 2nd, 2025, and be able to work at the office.</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>At Mitsubishi Power, we're not just building better clean energy technologies; we're architecting a better future. This position will report to the Brand Manager. Our interns work collaboratively with the Marketing and Internal Communications teams to plan and execute events that support Mitsubishi Power's business objectives. We are looking for someone who will embody our values of safety, family, innovative, inclusive, accountable, and courageous.</p> <p>BASIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Assist in the planning, logistics, and execution of events and promotional activities. Create engaging content for event marketing materials, including social media, invitations, web copy, internal communications, and more. Support the development and execution of event marketing campaigns. Conduct market research and analyze trends to inform event strategies. Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and implement innovative event ideas. Provide on-site support at events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees. Monitor and report on the performance of internal and external events. Perform other tasks as needed.</p> <p>OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures reporting all unsafe activities to Management and/or Human Resources. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Contribute to building a positive team spirit. Communicate effectively with all levels of employees. Protect confidential information by not communicating, disclosing to, or using for benefit of 3rd parties. Always maintain a high degree of honesty and integrity.</p> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EDUCATION</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Self-motivated and hardworking. Proficient in tools like Microsoft Office.
