<p>Job Title: Environmental, Health, & Safety Intern</p> <p>Pay: $20 an hour</p> <p>Internship Duration: 5/13/2026 - 8/14/2026</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for supporting Linamar's Health and Safety program which would include auditing, prepare reports and assist the joint health and safety committee.</p> <p>Responsibility</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support initiatives to enhance plant-wide health and safety practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Help facilitate safety and health training sessions for employees.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct safety and health inspections and audits on the manufacturing floor, ensuring documentation compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in managing and tracking incident reports and the incident management process.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in investigations of workplace accidents and incidents.</p> </li><li> <p>Verifying current policies and procedures are following the Occupational Health and Safety Act/Regulations and other relevant workplace legislation.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with safety orientations for new hires.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with Human Resources on new hire drug screening processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Review safety, illness and injury statistics, conducting trend analysis and providing recommendations for continuous improvement to ensure lost time is minimized.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Academic/Educational Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in an Occupational Health and Safety program. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Good written and oral skills </li><li>Self-motivated with initiative </li><li>Able to work in a team environment </li><li>Able to troubleshoot and multi-task </li><li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Flexible and adaptable </li><li>Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize </li><li>Previous health and safety experience is considered an asset </li></ul> <p>What Linamar Has to Offer</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Compensation </li><li>Opportunities for career advancement </li><li>Sustainability Counsel </li></ul> <p>About Us</p> <p>Linamar Corporation is a Canadian-founded global manufacturer, renowned for its advanced engineering and innovative product development across diverse industries and markets.
