The Driver loads, delivers, and transports HVAC freight and materials from one of our established wholesale HVAC distributorships to customers within a defined region.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload products for delivery in assigned region. </li><li>Collect invoices with proper signatures and return to Sales Center Manager. </li><li>Assist in the Warehouse with inventory counts, picking, verifying orders, and several Warehouse duties. </li><li>Responsible for daily checklist of truck maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns. </li><li>Adhere to all safety requirements, including wearing appropriate PPE. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>24 months of verifiable, current experience driving a 26' minimum box truck, or stake bed truck. </li><li>Possess a clean driving record: </li></ul> <p>No more than one moving violation in any one year period.</p> <p>No more than one preventable accident in any two year period.</p> <p>No restrictions, suspensions or DUI convictions in the past 3 years.</p> <ul> <li>Ability to pass DOT physical examination requirements. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service. </li><li>A willingness to learn and grow with our Company. </li><li>Must be 21 years of age or older. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Warehouse experience, including driving a forklift/appliance lift, is a plus. </li><li>TWIC card a plus </li></ul>
