In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers on energy and utility projects.</p> <p>Posting Locations for this role: St. Louis, MO; Lisle, IL; Frisco, TX</p> <p>Job Activities:</p> <ul> <li>Conceptual through final design and record drawings of utility lines and related facilities </li><li>Field visits to collect data and evaluate existing, pre-design conditions </li><li>Construction documents and administration </li><li>Cost estimating </li><li>Material specifications </li><li>General project and office support </li></ul> <p>Specific Requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Pursuing a BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum </li><li>Willing to work full-time during the spring semester and summer from January - August 2026 </li><li>Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project </li><li>Excellent Communication skills </li><li>Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver's license </li><li>MicroStation or AutoCAD experience or exposure is preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>About Farnsworth Group</p> <p>Farnsworth Group is a 135-year-old engineering, architecture, and surveying firm with over 600 talented professionals across a nationwide network of 24 offices.
