To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how cash registers operate.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Where You'll Make an Impact:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for operating cash register to cash out guests. </li><li>Answering phone, greeting customers, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurants. </li><li>Responsible for assisting with bussing and cleaning tables. </li><li>Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures. </li><li>Work to ensure the safety and security of employees and customers. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills You'll Need to Succeed</p> <ul> <li>Ability to organize and be creative. Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food. </li><li>Ability to use a cash register, credit card machine, point of sale machine, restaurant bar equipment, and equipment. </li><li>Ability to read simple instructions. </li><li>Knowledgeable of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Property Equipment). </li><li>Ability to communicate in English and fluency in either Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese or Asian language is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>A Few Must Haves</p> <ul> <li>Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent. </li><li>Experience: One (1) year food service experience.
