Our mission is to support the growth and development of children from birth to age 3 through family-centered, evidence-based practices. We are seeking Special Education Teachers who are passionate about making a difference in children's lives within home and community settings.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>As a Special Education Teacher in our Early Intervention program, you will work with infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) with developmental delays. You will design and implement individualized intervention plans and partner with families to support their child's educational and functional growth.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct early childhood special education services to children in home and community settings </li><li>Implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) </li><li>Conduct developmental assessments and progress monitoring </li><li>Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members </li><li>Deliver family coaching to encourage developmental growth </li><li>Maintain documentation and service logs in compliance with NYC EI requirements </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, hourly, or fee-for-service options </li><li>Competitive pay structure </li><li>Opportunities for supervision and clinical mentorship </li><li>Mobile-friendly electronic documentation system </li><li>Ongoing professional development and CEU opportunities </li><li>Referral and retention bonuses </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>New York State certification in Special Education (Birth-Grade 2), Special Education Permanent Certification or TSSLD/TSHH </li><li>Experience with infants, toddlers, or early childhood preferred </li><li>Knowledge of Early Intervention service delivery models and documentation standards </li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Ability to travel within assigned boroughs of NYC </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer) </li><li>Ability to lift up to 30 pounds </li><li>Ability to sit for extended periods of time </li><li>Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis </li><li>Ability to stand for extended periods of time </li><li>Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level, assignment location, service setting, and applicable program guidelines. </li></ul>
