<p>Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer IV for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. This role supports zero-downtime deployments and drives operational maturity across a high-scale medical records platform.</p> <p>Rate Range: $100/hour to $105/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>DevOps Engineer IV job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Driving zero-downtime deployment processes through continuous delivery practices while maintaining and upgrading core technologies such as Java, Scala, and Gradle.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, security, and development teams to design scalable microservices architectures and improve developer productivity through self-service tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively monitoring production environments, setting up predictive alerting systems, and analyzing performance tests to identify and resolve issues before they impact customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Managing and optimizing containerized Unix ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Fargate/ECS) and architecting reliable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshooting large-scale production issues by applying expertise in JVM management, distributed systems, NoSQL, CDN technologies, and network analysis tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Leading operational maturity initiatives by contributing long-term solutions, improving deployment pipelines, and enhancing system reliability identified through on-call rotations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.</p> </li><li> <p>5-8 years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in modern cloud and containerized environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong proficiency in Python scripting, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and managing container ecosystems such as Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, or Fargate/ECS.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to design predictive monitoring and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, or Datadog, and troubleshoot large-scale production issues across distributed systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
