Whether it's across underwriting, or working closely with Claims and Pricing, we are successful because of this collaboration.</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required in Engineering, Insurance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field </li><li>Strong underwriting experience across the market </li><li>High technical acumen of reinsurance and insurance principals. </li><li>Ability and willingness to travel nationally for marketing and underwriting meetings (assuming normal business conditions </li><li>A minimum 8 years of experience in underwriting Property Power Generation accounts </li><li>Preferred experience with loss control/risk engineering </li><li>Able to adapt well to Specialty Insurance structure and philosophy which includes technical underwriting and technical referrals </li><li>Show commercial and tactical vision </li><li>Sound technical knowledge of subjects associated to Power underwriting as well as a wider understanding of related legal, social and economic topics. </li><li>Ability to negotiate "face to face" </li><li>Ability to lead business </li><li>Ability to promote underwriting policy </li><li>Understanding of company systems and a high competency in software tools </li><li>Team player, proactive and internationally minded </li></ul> <p>Relocation assistance within the U.S. is available for this position. SCOR employees work 3 days per week in an office with the flexibility to work 2 days per week remotely.</p> <p>Pay Range for roles performed in NY & IL: $161,500-$218,500 base salary per year. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, role and performance. The range listed is just one component of SCOR's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives.
