<p>General Function</p> <p>The Campus Liaison is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations and facilities on the assigned campus. This role involves monitoring campus resources, assisting with coordinating events, and ensuring that the campus environment is conducive to learning and student engagement. Key responsibilities include performing a range of moderately complex clerical and administrative tasks related to campus operations. These may involve the coordination and support of renovation and construction projects with the Facilities team, communicating effectively with the campus community, monitoring the campus operations budget, and managing the procurement of supplies. Under our One College model, Campus Liaisons serve as the point of contact for the campus and the liaison between the campus and various departments of the college.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Daily Operations Monitoring</p> <ul> <li>Monitor the daily operations of the assigned campus to ensure smooth functioning. </li><li>Order and maintain office supplies, educational materials, and other necessary items for campus operations </li><li>Ensure regular review and disposal of information items. </li><li>Coordinate with college staff to address and resolve any operational issues promptly. </li><li>Exhibit the highest level of discretion and confidentiality </li><li>Ensure an enthusiastic customer experience for internal and external persons </li></ul> <p>Student Activities Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Student Life office with the execution of student activities and events. </li><li>Foster a vibrant campus life that enhances student engagement and satisfaction. </li><li>Serves as the campus liaison for conduct and civility in partnership with the AVP of Student Engagement, if needed. </li></ul> <p>Facility Management and Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Conduct weekly inspections of each campus area to identify issues and ensure campus facilities are well-maintained, available, and comply with college and facilities policies. </li><li>Manage facility requests and ensure campus facilities are well-maintained and available for use. Submit appropriate work orders and requests. </li><li>Coordinate with maintenance and custodial staff to promptly address facility-related issues such as repairs, cleanliness, and maintenance requests. </li><li>Monitor on-campus maintenance, renovation, and construction projects in collaboration with facilities leadership. </li><li>Collaborate with campus security officers to ensure a safe and secure environment for all campus members. </li><li>Implement and enforce safety protocols and emergency response plans in partnership with Safety and Security. </li><li>Interact and collaborate with the bookstore, campus security, facilities, food services, and other vendors for services provided on the campus. </li><li>Maintain functional knowledge of AdAstra scheduling and respond effectively to internal requests, as appropriate. </li><li>Maintain shared records of occupied spaces and actively participate in move requests and key requests. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for the on-campus high school staff. Facilitate communication and collaboration as needed. </li></ul> <p>Administrative duties</p> <ul> <li>Serves as campus lead for business continuity planning. </li><li>Prepare and manage campus budget as directed </li><li>Ensure compliance with college policies and procedures </li><li>Work collaboratively with campus colleagues to produce the campus strategic equipment list and participate in the management and audit of equipment. </li><li>Support and assist the campus leadership AVP as directed. </li><li>Perform administrative tasks to support the campus AVP. </li><li>Maintains active financial accounts to make necessary purchases and processes expenses. </li><li>Assist with mail delivery, as needed. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree and/or 7 years' experience in similar role </li><li>Strong ability to work independently </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Knowledge of campus operations. </li><li>Proficiency in computer applications is important. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with services offered by the college </li><li>Technology skills </li><li>Communication skills </li><li>Ability to provide consistently high-quality customer service </li><li>Balancing competing priorities </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Typical office environment </li><li>Any campus location, buildings, or grounds </li><li>Lifting or moving 10-20 lbs. </li><li>Travel to other campuses or areas surrounding campus, as needed </li></ul>
