<p>Conway Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our environmental services team. Help us provide a safe, clean, and welcoming space for patients and staff while making an impact every day.</p> <p>POSITION TYPE: Non-Direct Care FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt</p> <p>PURPOSE STATEMENT:</p> <p>Direct and oversee the day-to-day operation of housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and healthy environment for patient care.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in the day-to-day operation of housekeeping for the facility. </li><li>Perform cleaning duties safely and in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations or laws. </li><li>Organization policy and procedures in order to maintain a clean and sanitary environment. </li><li>Disinfect rooms, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies, using appropriate processes and germicides or cleaning equipment. </li><li>Provide guidance to staff to ensure work assignments and cleaning schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift / area. </li><li>Launder soiled linens as directed. </li><li>Maintain adequate cleaning supplies for department / unit use. </li><li>Properly clean and store all equipment and supplies after each shift. </li><li>Prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture for facility. </li><li>May be responsible for stocking of supplies. </li><li>Routinely practice infection control measures. </li><li>Responsible for the supervision of staff, provides orientation and training for new personnel. </li><li>Other housekeeping duties, such as move and arrange furniture, turn mattresses, clean kitchens, cooking utensils, silverware, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, as needed. </li></ul> <p>OTHER FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required</p> </li><li> <p>Two or more years of Leadership or supervisory experience required</p> </li><li> <p>One or more years of housekeeping experience in a commercial, clinic, or healthcare environment</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of sanitation techniques and equipment operation</p> </li><li> <p>Training in universal precautions and infection control preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Basic reading, writing, and speaking skills in English sufficient to provide and receive instructions and directions</p> </li></ul> <p>LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Valid state driver's license, where required in a facility.
