Rockaway, NJ</p> <p>Position Summary The Operations Manager oversees building maintenance and supports production departments to ensure efficient, consistent, and reliable operations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective coordination with internal teams and external vendors.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Building Operations:</p> <p>Manage daily building maintenance activities. Lead and schedule support personnel to maintain 24/7 coverage of critical systems. Oversee preventive maintenance and ensure prompt resolution of equipment issues. Coordinate maintenance programs and repairs with staff and vendors.</p> <p>Compliance & Regulatory Record Keeping:</p> <p>Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations, including:</p> <p>Sewer Authority reporting and system maintenance (CBOD and pH specifications) Underground Storage Tank inspections and documentation Boiler reports and inspections (DEP) for boilers, chillers, and pressure vessels Fire protection systems, elevator, generator, and fire pump inspections Stormwater and air permitting requirements Community Right to Know (CRTK) reporting</p> <p>Production Support:</p> <p>Collaborate with the Production Support Manager to resolve equipment issues in pressroom and prepress areas. Optimize production schedules and staffing for operational efficiency.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Demonstrated experience in operations management, building maintenance, and production support. Knowledge of compliance requirements (DEP, NJ State inspections, environmental permits). Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p> <p>Work Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to ensure 24/7 coverage of building systems.</p>
