<p>City of Janesville is seeking a </p> <p>Housing Programs Support Clerk (Part-time)</p> <p>Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about providing top-notch customer service? </p> <p>Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a talent for providing administrative support? </p> <p>Do you have a passion for helping those in our community?</p> <p>If so, we want YOU to join our Housing Division team at the City of Janesville (CoJ) as a Housing Programs Support Clerk!</p> <p>As a key member of our team, you will handle a variety of specialized and complex administrative support tasks with excellent customer service skills that support the efficient operations of the Housing Division. Housing Programs you will assist with include, but are not limited to: rent assistance, housing rehabilitation, home ownership, and property maintenance. </p> <p>In this role, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide excellent customer service via phone or in-person visitors by accurately relaying information, and screening and referring callers to appropriate staff or department, including handling complaints. </li><li>Assist in preparing Mortgage Satisfactions and recording the documents with the Rock County Register of Deeds Office appropriately. </li><li>Coordinate the loan application process and assist with entering loans in the loan management system. </li><li>Assist in reviewing compliance of current loans, including verifying household income of loan recipients and tenants in rehabilitated units, occupancy status, homeowners' insurance status, and payment of property taxes. </li><li>Provide administrative support to the Community Development Authority (CDA), including distributing agenda materials, posting materials to CoJ's website, and preparing meeting minutes. </li></ul> <p>Click here to view the full job description and learn more about CoJ's Housing Programs Support Clerk opportunity.</p> <p>Why work for the City of Janesville, you ask?</p> <p>The City of Janesville (population 66,202) is in south-central Wisconsin and the residents of Janesville choose this community, not just as a place to live, but as a place to realize life's opportunities. This position is also eligible for annual economic adjustments and performance-based adjustments, as approved by the City Council.</p> <p>What is the typical schedule?</p> <p>This position will work 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility to choose your schedule between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.</p> <p>Are there other benefits?</p> <p>Absolutely!
