<p>This Role Is Eligible To Be Hybrid And Has Onsite Reporting Located Within Raleigh, NC</p> <p>This position serves as a Lead Analyst within the Classification and Compensation Section of the NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)- Division of Human Resources. The position supports statewide job classification and salary administration by evaluating complex position descriptions, reviewing pay requests, and consulting on policy interpretation. The role works closely with HR partners across DHHS divisions to ensure that position structures and compensation actions follow state rules and reflect sound organizational planning. Key responsibilities include conducting job audits, leading project teams, and preparing formal documentation for internal and Office of State Human Resources (OSHR) approval.</p> <p>This role contributes directly to the Department's ability to attract, retain, and align workforce talent through equitable and consistent application of classification and pay policies. The position uses the Integrated HR/Payroll System (IHRPS) and other tools to analyze employment data, track salary trends, and identify areas for improvement.
