<p>Shipping & Receiving</p> <p>Hours 9am-5pm</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION:</p> <p>Pick and consolidate product and prepare goods for shipment. Record shipment data including weight, dimensions and freight charges. Report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping purposes. Complete shipping and receiving reports on time and error free.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Move material throughout the plant by hand, pallet jack and/or forklift to pull or put away stock and complete sales orders to meet customer demand. </li><li>Support freight and courier shipment processes by picking, packaging and labelling product. </li><li>Process orders and invoices to CP&S customers. </li><li>Create a Bill of Lading for each shipment utilizing shipping software. </li><li>Stock shipping materials and supplies as needed. </li><li>Coordinate pickup of freight with freight carriers and/or ensure parcel shipments are completed to meet deadlines. </li><li>Update performance metrics for respective area to meet visual management standards. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED). </li><li>2-3 years related experience on shipping and receiving dock. </li><li>Basic computer skills required. </li><li>Fork-Lift experience preferred. </li><li>Experience with ERP/Shipping software systems preferred. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. </li></ul> <p>#LI-BC1</p> <p>This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
