<p>The Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences (NHS) in the College of Education and Human Sciences (CEHS) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) invites applications for a full-time, 9-month Assistant or Associate Professor with expertise in exercise physiology and exercise testing. This position carries an appointment of 50% research, 45% teaching, and 5% service.</p> <p>The successful candidate is expected to have, and continue to develop, a nationally recognized human research program in exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, or performance assessment.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Conducting and publishing high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals. </li><li>Developing collaborative research with faculty at UNL and/or other institutions. </li><li>Presenting research findings at national or international scientific meetings and/or through invited presentations. </li><li>Integrating research and teaching in exercise physiology and exercise testing. </li><li>Mentoring and advising undergraduate and graduate students and serving on graduate committees. </li><li>Teaching responsibilities will include developing and delivering undergraduate and/or graduate courses aligned with the candidate's expertise. </li></ul> <p>The successful candidate will have access to shared research and instructional facilities equipped for assessing aerobic, anaerobic, and resistance-training responses in humans.</p> <p>To learn more about NHS, visit https://cehs.unl.edu/nhs/home/.
