We're looking for a motivated Surveyor who takes pride in accuracy, teamwork, and delivering high-quality results.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Surveyor, you will perform topographical, boundary, ALTA, staking, and construction layout surveys while supporting project teams with accurate field data and documentation. You will handle the downloading and uploading of survey data into AutoCAD, perform research on land records, and collaborate directly with engineers, project managers, and the survey crew.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform topographical, boundary, ALTA, staking, and construction layout surveys </li><li>Download, process, and upload field data into AutoCAD/Civil 3D </li><li>Research and verify land records, deeds, and relevant documentation </li><li>Coordinate closely with engineers and project teams to support project requirements </li><li>Work collaboratively with the survey crew and survey manager across various job sites </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D </li><li>Experience in survey drafting </li><li>Minimum 2 years of land surveying experience </li><li>Hands-on experience with Leica, Topcon, or total station equipment </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Trimble GPS and boundary survey software </li><li>Understanding of ALTA survey requirements and topographic mapping </li><li>Strong ability to work outdoors in varied conditions </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is primarily field-based with some office responsibilities.</p> <ul> <li>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (overtime and occasional weekends as needed) </li><li>Locations: Job sites throughout Connecticut and occasionally New York </li><li>Settings range from active construction sites to wooded and undeveloped areas </li><li>The role requires regular physical activity and outdoor work </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including:</p> <ul> <li>Major medical insurance </li><li>401(k) profit-sharing plan </li><li>Life insurance, short-term disability, and AD&D coverage </li><li>Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days </li><li>Direct deposit payroll </li><li>Health club membership </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Shelton, CT.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
