<p>The Dublin San Ramon Services District is seeking two (2) temporary, full-time Maintenance Workers in the Field Operations division. The temporary maintenance workers will assist District Water/Wastewater Systems Operators with dead-end flushing, hydro-cleaning, CCTV inspections, USA utility locating, service orders, and hydrant maintenance. </p> <p>Assignments not to exceed 1000 hours or six (6) months, whichever occurs first.</p> <p>Assignment posting open until filled.  A first review of applications will occur on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.</p> <p>The temporary maintenance workers in the Field Operations division will assist Water/Wastewater Systems Operators with field tasks and maintenance on the District's water distribution and wastewater collections systems.   </p> <p>Work is performed outdoors in all types of weather including high heat days and cold and rain.Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Possession of a valid California Class C driver's license is required. </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. </li><li>May not be an active CalPERS member (CalPERS retirees are encouraged to apply). </li></ul> <p>Candidates with experience in the water or wastewater field, meter repair and/or underground maintenance are preferred.  </p> <p>To apply for this temporary assignment, upload a cover letter and resume and answer the supplemental questions.</p> <p>Selected candidate must complete the following:</p> <ul> <li>Background screening </li><li>Pre-employment drug and alcohol screening </li><li>Physical </li><li>Will be subject to a monthly review of their driving record </li></ul>
