Steiner is a close family culture with a strong commitment to customer service, values, integrity and community service.</p> <p>WHAT WE OFFER:</p> <p>We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation plans </li><li>Hybrid/Remote work environment </li><li>Generous Paid Time Off </li><li>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short-term and Long-term disability insurance </li><li>Learning & Development Plans </li><li>Coaching & Mentorship </li><li>401K with company match </li><li>Wellness reimbursement program </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO:</p> <ul> <li>Process Vendor invoices accurately and on a timely basis. </li><li>Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receipts and invoices. </li><li>Contact vendors for the purpose of acquiring invoices for unmatched receipts and billing discrepancies. </li><li>Bill customer for material shipped direct from vendors. </li><li>Reconcile monthly vendor statements and resolve discrepancies. </li><li>Analyze reports for unbooked receipts and billing discrepancies. </li><li>Process receipt POs for payment. </li><li>Process direct Sales Orders for payment and customer invoicing. </li><li>Process EDI invoices. </li><li>Contact purchasers/buyers and the receiving department on pricing and quantity issues. </li><li>Scan all invoices and backup documents for payables. </li><li>Enter monthly rebates/cost credits. </li><li>Collaboration with Credit Department and Accounting. </li><li>Communicate with internal departments regarding payment inquiries. </li><li>Other ad hoc activities as needed </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED certification required. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience. </li><li>Competent in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. </li><li>Strong problem solving skills. </li><li>High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and transaction review </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements of the Essential Functions for this Position:</p> <ul> <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer </li><li>Make repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists. </li></ul> <p>We are an equal opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment.
