<p>What you'll do at OhioMHAS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performs duties of Director of Pharmacy Services & accepts ultimate responsibility for all phases of Pharmacy Services operation: administrative functions include control of, monitoring of & modification of drug distribution system</p> </li><li> <p>Develops, maintains & coordinates all activities of pharmaceutical services in adherence to all laws & regulations</p> </li><li> <p>Integrates activities & goals of Pharmacy Services department with those of other departments in order to increase efficiency, improve patient care, & meet standards of all accrediting & certifying agencies</p> </li><li> <p>Procures, trains & supervises professional, sub-professional & clerical personnel</p> </li><li> <p>Does inventory control and procures necessary supplies & equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Performs professional functions which include performance of dispensing, clinical drug information, & other related duties: consults with Physician, nurse & other relevant personnel on matters relating to pharmaceuticals & drug therapy</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in Pharmacy & Therapeutics committee & repackages, compounds & manufacturers pharmaceuticals</p> </li><li> <p>Generates & reviews patients' Pharmacy profiles for potential problems & specific patterns of drug utilization as it relates to age (i.e., adolescents, adult, geriatric)</p> </li><li> <p>Performs routine inspections of ward drug distribution areas & methods</p> </li></ul> <p>This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of 17 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible Schedule).</p> <p>This position is located within Heartland Behavioral Healthcare at 3000 Erie Street South, Massillon, OH 44646.</p> <p>Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.</p> <p>Current & valid license to practice pharmacy as issued by Ohio State Board of Pharmacy, pursuant to Sections 4729.01 to 4729.29, inclusive of Ohio Revised Code.</p> <ul> <li>Or 12 mos. exp. as Pharmacist, 65411. </li><li>Or alternative, equivalent evidence of the major worker characteristics, noted above may be substituted for the experience required, but not for the mandated licensure. </li></ul> <p>Job Skills: Pharmacy</p>
