<p>Department: Physical Therapy- Novi</p> <p>Contingent Hours: Minimum requirement of two weekend shifts per month, two Holidays per year, two hard-to-fill days per year. Above these minimum requirements, looking for person with weekday availability throughout the year to cover for LOAs, CTO and respite days for full time staff.</p> <p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p> <p>Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition. </li><li>Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family. </li><li>Performs therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. </li><li>Oversees activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Physical Therapist bachelor degree with 5 years of experience OR Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited program </li></ul> <p>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Current State of Michigan licensure.
