This role offers a mix of time in the branch and time in the field, developing both patient-facing clinical skills and strong workflow independence.</p> <p>You'll provide essential respiratory care, equipment setup, patient education, and clinical support, playing a key role in ensuring safe transitions from hospital to home.</p> <p>Key highlights</p> <ul> <li>Working Hours: Part-time (3 days per week) 8:30 AM-5:00 PM ~ flexibility if needed. Overtime as needed </li><li>Check in at the branch daily; flexibility based on patient needs and hospital discharges </li><li>Hybrid-style role: ~70% in the branch, ~30% in the field </li></ul> <p>Salary range</p> <ul> <li>$31.50-$39.00 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education and location </li></ul> <p>On-Call transparency</p> <ul> <li>Rotation is area-based, not branch-based </li><li>Coverage area includes Ogden, Woods Cross, and up to Logan, Utah. </li><li>Rotation frequency: Once every other week Monday - Friday. </li><li>Weekend call-outs are rare and generally involve telehealth support </li><li>Mileage and time start from home during on-call rotation </li><li>Personal vehicle required (mileage reimbursed) </li></ul> <p>What you'll do</p> <ul> <li>Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups </li><li>Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance </li><li>Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately </li><li>Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs </li><li>Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop </li><li>Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation </li><li>Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition </li><li>Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs </li><li>Performs other duties as required </li></ul> <p>What we look for</p> <ul> <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active Utah RT license. </li><li>Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 - 50 lbs. </li><li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program </li></ul> <p>Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations</p> <ul> <li>Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy </li><li>Hold a current CPR Certification </li><li>Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice </li></ul> <p>If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.</p> <p>Teammate Benefits</p> <p>As an Accendra Health employee, you have choices to fit your life.
