You'll be part of a team that is resilient and seeks fairness by listening to patients and providing patient-centered care.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As an LPN Supervisor at Neighborhood, you'll use your training, organizational skills, attention to detail, and influencing skills as you perform nursing tasks and help ensure an excellent patient experience. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Provides direct leadership to the LPN desk nurses and MA support team including daily oversight, on-boarding of new employees, and department scheduling </li><li>Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care team by communicating information, responding to requests, building rapport and participating in team problem solving methods </li><li>Collaborates and successfully carries out, with the other nursing supervisors, recruitment, scheduling, training, development, coaching, performance appraisals, and, when necessary, progressive discipline of nursing staff to allow for a cohesive nursing team </li><li>Develops, maintains and holds nursing department staff accountable to training protocols for all positions within the nursing department </li><li>Maintains nursing job results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results </li><li>Intercedes to support patients in clinical issues and complaints as soon as able; assists in de-escalating, documenting, and supporting resolution </li><li>Functions as a Licensed Practical Nurse in direct patient care </li></ul> <p>You will be primarily based at our Bridgeview location, 1050 Niagara St. in Buffalo, and will travel to other Neighborhood sites in Western New York as needed.</p> <p>What it's Like to Work at Neighborhood:</p> <p>The top three words employees say describe the work environment are: teamwork, supportive, kind. We are a group of flexible and kind individuals who are open to each other's ideas, and see opportunities to innovate and find solutions when challenges arise.</p> <p>Education and Skills to be an LPN Supervisor:</p> <ul> <li>Graduated from an accredited nursing school </li><li>Five years of nursing experience, minimum </li><li>Must possess a current NYS LPN license </li><li>Must have current CPR certification </li><li>Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through </li><li>Superb organizational skills </li><li>Strong influencing skills </li><li>Self-starter with the ability to work proactively and take initiative </li><li>Results-oriented; creative and persistent in accomplishing tasks </li><li>Solutions-driven with a systems orientation </li><li>Highly responsive, timely, accurate and thorough in follow-up and follow-through </li><li>Highly flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude </li><li>Excellent in managing shifting priorities and timelines </li><li>Outstanding project and time-management skills </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, comfortable using document management software </li><li>Proficiency in Adobe and database management </li><li>Excellent oral and written communication skills </li><li>Excellent judgment and discretion </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>Compensation: $32.79 an hour based on a full-time, 40 hour work week</p> <p>Plus, this position offers a sign-on bonus for external hires, paid in installments throughout the employee's successful first year of employment.</p> <p>Benefits: You'll have options for medical, dental, life, and supplemental insurance.
