<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Water Treatment Plant Supervisor oversees efficient and compliant operations and maintenance of the City of Dayton's water treatment facilities, ensuring adherence to all City, Ohio EPA, and regulatory standards. This role manages all operational and maintenance shifts for a 24/7 operation at one of three facilities: the Miami Treatment Plant, Ottawa Treatment Plant, or Lime Reclamation Facility.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Hydrology or related field and 2 years of experience (one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity) in the operation and maintenance of a water treatment or lime reclamation plant; OR Associate's degree in any of the above fields and 5 years of experience (one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity) in the operation and maintenance of a water treatment or lime reclamation plant; OR High School diploma (or G.E.D) and 8 years of experience (one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity) in the operation and maintenance of a water treatment or lime reclamation plant.</p> <p>License Requirements</p> <p>Must possess a valid driver's license at time of appointment and maintain thereafter as a term and condition of continued employment.</p> <p>Special Requirements</p> <p>Must possess an Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) Water Supply Class II Operator's certification at time of appointment.
