<p>Responsible for providing direction to Forklift Operators, training, assigning work, and resolving problems within area of responsibility. Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials from rail cars in distribution center or storage yard.</p> <ul> <li>Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner. </li><li>Assist and supports with training employees and certifies newly hired LTOs. </li><li>In the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as needed </li><li>Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed. </li><li>Assists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing work. </li><li>Assist LTO's with daily issues. </li><li>Assist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed. </li><li>Need to Case Pick daily and/or as needed based on business needs. </li><li>Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. </li><li>Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li><li>Assist with onboarding and safety training. </li><li>Assist the Ops Managers, Supervisors and GM/HRM with special projects. </li><li>Schedule flexibility is a must base on business needs. </li></ul> <p>Customer Service Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision (Options available) </li><li>401K with matching program </li><li>STD, LTD </li><li>Vacation and sick time </li><li>Friendly and Open-Door culture </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Tuesday-Fri 6:00am-4:30pm</p> <p>Pay rate: $22.50</p> <p>This position is designated as safety-sensitive, meaning performance directly affects the safety of the employee and others, including the general public.</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Must be able to successfully complete post-hire assessments. </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g. OSHA, company, etc.). </li><li>Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g. protective footwear, protective eyewear, gloves, etc.) in accordance with safety policies. </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft word and Excel </li><li>Must have good and professional communication skills. </li><li>Must be a team player and embrace changes. </li></ul>
