<p>Transportation Planner</p> <p>Location:Leesport, PA & Arcadia, WI</p> <p>Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Friday</p> <p>Drive Profit and Efficiency as a Fleet Planner</p> <p>Are you a skilled logistics professional ready to take on a dynamic and impactful role? As a Fleet Planner, you will be at the heart of our transportation operations, driving profit optimization by expertly coordinating freight and capacity within a designated geographic area. You will play a key role in ensuring load volumes align with network commitments, maximizing efficiency for both drivers and customers.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <p>Optimize Freight and Capacity: Plan and schedule inbound trucks and outbound freight within a 24-72 hour timeframe, balancing the needs of drivers and customers while prioritizing equipment productivity.</p> <p>Trailer Asset Management: Maximize customer trailer pools and minimize inactive assets to improve operational efficiency.</p> <p>Proactive Freight Management: Review customer freight commitments daily, securing additional capacity as needed and making informed decisions about accepting or declining additional freight requests based on capacity, cost, and revenue.</p> <p>Collaborate for Success: Work closely with the Customer Service and Sales teams to align freight volumes with network commitments. Collaborate with Area Managers to develop innovative customer solutions.</p> <p>Cross-Training Opportunities: Engage in cross-training with Customer Service Representatives to step in and meet customer demands as needed.</p> <p>Ensure Accuracy: Enter data accurately into systems, ensure billing information is correct, and maintain detailed records.</p> <p>Why This Role is Important:</p> <p>The Fleet Planner is essential in maintaining the delicate balance between customer needs, driver satisfaction, and profit optimization. By strategically managing freight, capacity, and trailer assets, you'll ensure our operations run efficiently and profitably while delivering top-tier service.</p> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <p>Experience: Previous experience in logistics, fleet planning, or transportation coordination.
