<p>Akkodis is seeking a Technician for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. You will perform in-vitro experiments involving mammalian cell culture and microbiological techniques, ensuring accurate analysis and documentation.</p> <p>Rate Range: $37/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Technician job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Handle and maintain various mammalian cell lines and bacterial cultures for in-vitro experiments.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine microbiological techniques such as bacterial growth, plating, and colony counting.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct histology procedures including embedding, sectioning, and staining (e.g., immunohistochemistry, HE) and operate light/fluorescence microscopy.</p> </li><li> <p>Execute assays such as ELISA and PCR, and maintain calibration of lab equipment while ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare scientific reports, perform statistical analysis of in-vitro studies, and develop presentations.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with internal teams to develop and validate in-vitro and ex-vivo assays for wound healing when required.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's or master's degree in microbiology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on laboratory experience, especially in mammalian cell culture and microbial techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong skills in performing in-vitro assays (ELISA, PCR), histology techniques, and maintaining compliance with EHS regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently or in a team, with good documentation practices and experience in multidisciplinary projects.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
