<p>The Senior Real Estate Valuations Analyst will ensure Security Service Federal Credit Union receives regulatory-compliant appraisal reports and evaluations that are prepared in accordance with internal policies and procedures, Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), 12 CFR Part 1002 (Regulation B), and other regulatory guidelines. Ensure the quality and quantity guidelines are met and conclusions are accurate and/or appropriate; and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and rendering professional judgments based on USPAP and SSFCU guidelines. Manage the screening, engaging, reviewing, and managing appraisal related workflows within Mortgage Services. Conducts thorough reviews of appraisal reports and various valuation products. Analyze the reasonableness of the appraisal report to confirm the value is supported for financing purposes while evaluating report completion methodology. Correspond with appraisers to address issues or discrepancies within appraisal reports raised by the line of business regarding specific appraisals, general appraisal practices, and associated SSFCU appraisal policies. Coordinate and maintain open lines of communication with Mortgage Services business stakeholders concerning the approved appraiser list and appraisal related issues. Recommend qualified additions or deletions from the approved appraiser list. Collaborate with the Mortgage Services business stakeholders and Second Line of Defense to ensure overall appraisal compliance, independence, and valuation. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Bachelor's Degree in Business, Real Estate or Finance or five (5) years equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.</p> <p>Licensed Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR).</p> <p>Extensive knowledge in analyzing quantitative and qualitative data and rendering professional judgments based on USPAP and SSFCU guidelines.</p> <p>Determine if the appraisal report adequately addresses a wide variety of issues that affect property values, such as size, location, market conditions, and physical property condition.</p> <p>Perform external research through the lender system, public records, and/or MLS data may be required to verify and support data and opinions within the appraisal report and appraisal review.</p> <p>Extensive knowledge of real property, terms, types of ownership in real estate, deeds, mortgages, etc.</p> <p>Complete evaluation analysis of residential properties.</p> <p>Ability to recognize deficiencies in appraisals and evaluation reports.Staff Appraisal Reviewer (SAR) Licensed.</p> <p>Knowledge of real property, terms, types of ownership in real estate, deeds, mortgages, etc.</p> <p>Working knowledge of Regulatory Information Management System (RIMS) is preferred.</p> <p>Real Estate Appraisal Analysis experience preferred.</p> <p>Capable of completing evaluation analysis of residential properties.</p> <p>Ability to recognize deficiencies in appraisals and evaluation reports.</p> <p>Extensive knowledge of Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) preferred.</p> <p>Extensive knowledge of lending operations and/or appraisal department policies and procedures.</p> <p>Can work effectively in a team environment but also a self-starter able to work independently.</p> <p>Effectively manage multiple deadlines and projects.</p> <p>Excellent Oral and Written Communications skills.</p> <p>Extensive Analytical/Math skills.</p> <p>Ability to work with a sense of urgency.</p> <p>Extensive knowledge with secondary market collateral guidelines.Security Service Federal Credit Union is an industry leader who has built a reputation of innovation, strength, and stability.
