<p>Position: Airline Cargo Manager (Cargo Operations)</p> <p>Location: Onsite - Queens, NY 11430 (Local Candidates Only)</p> <p>Salary: $100,000 (flexible based on experience) + Bonus, Benefits, Cell Phone, etc.</p> <p>Job Closing Date: Friday 29th August 2025</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Cargo Manager (Cargo Operations) to lead the launch of our new U.S. operations in New York. This is a high-impact, ground floor opportunity for an ambitious professional with strong leadership, operations, and sales capabilities.</p> <p>You will be responsible for building and managing a local team, overseeing daily office and cargo operations, and driving revenue through strategic sales efforts.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Station Leadership: Oversee all functions at the New York station, ensuring smooth coordination across sales, operations, and customer service. </li><li>Flight Oversight: Monitor and manage the performance of online flights, resolving operational issues and ensuring service reliability. </li><li>Cargo Optimization: Manage cargo flow to maximize space utilization, profitability, and service quality for both customers and airline partners. </li><li>Interline & Offline Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies for interline and offline cargo, building strong partnerships. </li><li>Key Account Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness. </li><li>Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments, airline partners, and ground handlers to deliver seamless end-to-end service. </li><li>Operational Problem-Solving: Address and resolve local operational challenges with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach. </li><li>Compliance: Ensure full adherence to corporate operational standards, safety protocols, and service-level agreements. </li><li>Reporting & Analysis: Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reports on cargo volumes, revenue, and KPIs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Airlines or GSSA (General Sales and Service Agent) preferred. </li><li>Strong customer service skills and solid understanding of the air cargo market. </li><li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Self-starter with strong organizational and capacity management skills. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. </li><li>Proficient in IT systems with strong analytical and planning skills. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000 yearly</p> <p>The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
