However, we have strong preference for someone based out of Columbia, MD. This position works in close cooperation with the Sales, Service and other support organizations to create and deploy service solutions that benefit our customers. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring contractually agreed service and support requirements can be met and delivered by the service organization.</p> <p>Your tasks</p> <ul> <li>Understand customer requirements and concept of operation in close collaboration with sales and the customer </li><li>Identify and implement Service Delivery and Support Concept, processes, tools and capabilities. Validate needed processes and tools are in place and trigger gap closure as needed </li><li>Ensures that Service Demands from the customer or an RFQ correspond with Service Operations capabilities. Develop and review SOW in response to RFQs </li><li>Develop SOW for subcontractors for services in coordination with R&S Contracts Team. Manage subcontractor performance and relationships </li><li>Develop and implement strategy for service delivery solutions (including in-house and third-party delivery) </li><li>Work cross functionally to drive the development of SLA costs and pricing </li><li>Handover service solution requirements and transition service delivery strategy, processes and tools to Service Delivery teams </li><li>Implement training concepts, processes and tools for technicians & subcontractors </li><li>Manage System and SLA install base </li><li>Actively drive process improvements & lean initiatives. Technical degree in Electronics (or equivalent) is highly preferred </li><li>5+ years experience with defining requirements for and implementing business concepts, processes and tools for enabling operational delivery for technical products </li><li>Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S a plus </li><li>Technical capability to understand RF and Electrical system fundamentals. Ability to comprehend technical electrical and mechanical documentation and apply knowledge in relevant situations </li><li>Ability to create well organized clear presentation of information in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with specific proficiency in MS Excel, and the ability to use data manipulation functions to analyze, filter, sort, and present complex datasets effectively through charts and graphs, enabling informed decision-making </li><li>Ability to travel a minimum of 25%, primarily domestic travel with occasional international travel </li><li>In order to be considered, candidates must be a US resident with valid permanent work authorization able to obtain US Public Trust Clearance </li></ul> <p>Interested?</p> <p>We are looking forward to receiving your application!</p> <p>The total compensation for this position is $96K-$128K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
