Interested applicants must apply online by visiting the Denver Public Schools job board at careers.dpsk12.org.</p> <p>About this job:</p> <p>Serve as a lead for all technical aspects of the MyTech Hardware Repair one-to-one program.</p> <p>What DPS Offers You:</p> <ul> <li>A Culture that values Equity, Accountability, Integrity, Collaboration and Fun with a shared vision that Every Learner Thrives. </li><li>Salary Range: $75,457-$90,548 Click here for more information on compensation for these roles. </li><li>In addition to competitive compensation, DPS has other Total Reward offerings such as; time off, health and wellness benefits, and PERA Retirement. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the MyTech Hardware Repair Program team in the daily workflow for diagnosing, repair, and all compliance related matters to repairs </li><li>Define device repair accountability procedures for MyTech Hardware Repair Program </li><li>Develop documentation to assist schools with accountability related to device repair </li><li>Serve as Liaison between DPS and selected Chromebook vendor to ensure contract fulfillment related to repairs and compliance </li><li>Serve as liaison between schools and vendors to create and maintain working processes for equipment repair and replacement. </li><li>Develop , document and assist in implementing processes for schools to use in following all in-warranty and out-of-warranty repair processes. </li><li>Work with schools and DoTS to ensure that the movement of legacy devices works as smoothly as possible. </li><li>Assist MyTech Hardware Repair Program team with supporting students and others in repair opportunities and exposure through shadowing, internships, and/or apprenticeship </li><li>Assist in stewarding requests for assistance from district-managed schools </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Operational effectiveness: ensures completion of daily activities; directs and supports the team's work efforts, maximizes productivity and achieves short term goals. Improves the team environment; plans, evaluates, and guides the behaviors of direct reports. </li><li>Plans and organizes: decides how work gets completed, based on what work is prioritized by management. Sets the team up for success by establishing: goals, action plans, deadlines, and standards. Tactfully assigns work to the team according to aptitude, skills, work load and interests. </li><li>Controls quality: closely tracks efforts to confirm work is performed according to standards; checks progress, evaluates accuracy, discovers deviations and identifies solutions. </li><li>Coaches and advises: leads and influences the team's best work by serving as an escalation point, solving routine problems, preventing conflicts, and giving direct feedback. Provides instruction and guidance to ensure full understanding of designated activities. </li><li>Training and development: provides ongoing opportunities to help improve daily work skills; educates new team members, hosts meetings, mentors, and allows showcase of strengths. Ensures compliance with district by implementing and enforcing standard practices and procedures. </li><li>Communication: maintains a close relationship and regularly discusses workload and deadlines with the team. Report status to team members and managers, including cost, scope, quality, time, performance, and output to create a positive team atmosphere and keep everyone informed. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related field preferred </li><li>Managerial or leadership experience in leading others through complex tasks and procedures </li><li>IT work experience with Gsuite for Education, Chrome Console, Chrome OS and Chromebooks </li><li>Consulting experience and experience in process improvement preferred </li><li>Experience troubleshooting, isolating, diagnosing, and resolving problems preferred </li><li>Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. </li><li>Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. </li><li>Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position. </li></ul> <p>Denver Public Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender expression, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, military service, or any other status protected by law or regulations.
