Provide key inputs as an industry leader and expert, staying ahead of legal trends and influencing industry standards. 10+ years relevant experience and a Juris doctorate degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Juris Doctor from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association Admitted to, and in good standing with, a state bar 10+ years of legal experience preferably with an in-house position advising on consumer product legal matters. 2+ years of experience in advising product professionals in the consumer financial services/fintech space Expertise in risk management, compliance, and regulatory frameworks as they relate to consumers using our shopping and checkout products Skilled at identifying issues, providing risk-based recommendations, and contributing to strategic business conversations in a fast-paced environment Experience navigating complex legal issues around consumer protection, payments and digital wallets Extensive knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to digital wallets and fintech, including federal and state UDAAP standards, state money transmission laws, FTC and CFPB guidelines, TCPA, Reg. E, GLBA, BSA, and CAN-SPAM Experience building cross-functional relationships and communication styles that resonate with business teams to launch products responsibly Demonstrated strong sense of ownership and ability to exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations</p>
