<p>Suzuki has an excellent opportunity for a Marine Technical Instructor and Curriculum Developer to join our team in Tampa Fl. The Marine Technical Instructor and Curriculum will effectively develop and deliver technical training curriculum to promote growth.</p> <p>Position Details:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in classroom instruction, curriculum development, and assessment practices. </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of marine engine service, including maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair. </li><li>Strong computer skills and proficiency with job-related software </li><li>Ability to complete administrative tasks such as course documentation, reporting, and data collection for licensing and accreditation </li><li>Under general supervision, develops program and course learning outcomes, curricular outline(s), and delivery method(s). </li><li>Facilitate training courses in professional classroom and training shop environments, including preparation, delivery, testing, grading and reporting. </li><li>Identify curriculum gaps and develop written and hands-on curriculum to meet the latest Suzuki Marine training goals. </li><li>Develop and maintain training aids/labs to help students comprehend training objectives. </li><li>Storyboard training e-modules, provide subject mater expertise in the development of training e modules. </li><li>Develop industry partnerships with technical colleges. </li><li>Work independently, be highly flexible, and team oriented </li><li>Maintain a safe and secure training environment. </li><li>Travel is required as needed between 5 training locations. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Technical Diploma in Marine Technology or a closely related field from an accredited technical institute, college, or university. </li><li>A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in marine engine technology or a related role </li><li>Credentialed (or eligible for credentialing) in accordance with all applicable accrediting agency requirements </li><li>Strong technical knowledge of outboards and the technical aspect of marine products. </li><li>Experience in presentation and facilitation skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational and communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. </li><li>A comprehensive knowledge of Marine Engine service, including experience with maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair. </li><li>Able to work flexible hours, and manage multiple & competing priorities </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching in a postsecondary technical or vocational setting. </li><li>Manufacturer certifications or advanced training in marine engine systems. </li><li>Experience designing technical or vocational curriculum. </li></ul>
