The BMT will report to a Group/Shift Lead (Supervisor) and will provide emergency and routine multi-craft maintenance support to the operations departments in a highly automated environment. This position (electrical, mechanical, and electronic) will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical, electronic and electrical industrial equipment for a designated department within the plant. The ideal candidate must have a continuous improvement mindset while achieving the overall objectives with preventative maintenance and quick repair for trouble calls from operating technicians. The Wilson Plant is a highly automated tire manufacturing facility and produces Passenger Car and Light Truck Radial tires on a 24/7 basis.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Troubleshooting and repairing Mechanical, Electronic, and Electrical Industrial Equipment</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including Hydraulics and Pneumatic Equipment </li><li>Perform Quick Repair for Trouble Calls from Operating Technicians </li><li>Troubleshooting and repairing Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) </li><li>Continuous improvement activities (Kaizen) </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>3+ years industrial maintenance technician experience in a multi-craft industrial manufacturing environment.</p> <ul> <li>or- </li></ul> <p>Completed apprenticeship program AND 2+ years multi-craft industrial maintenance experience</p> <ul> <li>or- </li></ul> <p>2-year technical degree (AS) in electronics, robotics, general technology, mechatronics or related technical field AND at least 2+ years of experience in a multi-craft industrial maintenance environment or equivalent military experience</p> <ul> <li>or- </li></ul> <p>4+ years of high-tech maintenance related military experience (e.g. US Navy- Nuclear or Aviation field, US Air Force Missile Technicians, etc.).</p>
