For more information, please visit www.lggindustrial.com</p> <p>ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY</p> <p>Role Profile</p> <p>Position: Warehouse Technician</p> <p>Job Location: West Valley City, UT</p> <p>Job Type: Full-Time</p> <p>Status: Non-Exempt</p> <p>Summary of the Role</p> <p>The Warehouse Technician will manage all activities related to the functioning of the warehouse in order to meet or exceed customer expectations and to achieve facility and company goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Receives incoming shipments into inventory, posts in online system and places items in warehouse</p> </li><li> <p>Identify any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor</p> </li><li> <p>Picks product in warehouse and prepares items for pick up, delivery or shipping</p> </li><li> <p>Package and ship through UPS, Fed Ex, and LTL Motor Freight</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with staging local shipments for VMI delivery and Hot Shots</p> </li><li> <p>Handles customer pickups</p> </li><li> <p>Makes recommendations to management with respect to product and process improvements</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with physical inventory</p> </li><li> <p>Properly label and store received goods for future identification and retrieval</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain all warehouse locations, bins, and racks in a neat and orderly fashion</p> </li><li> <p>Properly keep designated stocking locations stocked as required</p> </li><li> <p>Pull stock for all "Pick- Pack-Ship" orders for daily customers</p> </li><li> <p>Provide correct parts and materials for daily production orders</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as trained and qualified for</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Basic computer skills in MS Office, internet and email</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working in ERP or Inventory system such as P21 a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory software and to create packing list</p> </li><li> <p>Self-starter</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Applicants should possess the ability to interact with customers and team members in a professional manner. Some leadership experience is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written</p> </li><li> <p>Requires proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in units of measure. Additionally, must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational and housekeeping skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to organize and prioritize workload and be able to interact effectively with all types of people</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be 18 years of age or older</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of related warehousing or production experience</p> </li><li> <p>High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work independently</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn about how our products are produced on equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Reliable transportation is a must</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work overtime, as required</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work nights and weekends, as required</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience working in an industrial setting</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>ERP experience, P21 a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Forklift experience or certification</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based in a production and warehouse setting, which may involve exposure to a range of environmental conditions.
